Does your organization need to network with people? The nonprofit I used to work at needed that and our database did not have that function. I found zip code map coordinate data released by US Census and a formula to calculate distances between zip codes. I learned a little VBA and presto. This is a sample database where you can import tables and analyze the distance from a central zip code and return all entries within a specified distance. If you have an access database, you can copy the modules, data tables and queries to your database. This will make your life easier down the road. If you don't use access, I am working on a more comprehensive system that will include criteria other than zip codes.
