Windows Std Serial Communications Library for Visual Basic

MarshallSoft Visual Basic serial communication library component for serial port communications from within a VB or VB.NET program. Uses the standard Windows API to communicate with any device connected to a serial port. Includes 28 functions plus modem control, ANSI emulation, ASCII/XMODEM/YMODEM protocols, hardware and software flow control, and multiple examples. Is port re-entrant, can control multiple ports simultaneously and is fully thread safe. Can send Windows messages on completion of events (incoming character, etc.). Includes 16-bit & 32-bit DLL versions. Works with both Visual Basic (any version) and VB.Net. Does not depend on support libraries. Makes calls to Windows API functions only.
