xAsset - Xoops Video Streaming and MP3 Sales

xAsset is a Xoops module that allows selling of streamed video and electronic media. Video Support: 1. Large video files (>100MB and upwards with no top limit). 2. Requires web server with PHP support. Does not require expensive streaming software or hardware. 3. Pure streaming with support to seeking/scrubbing to any point in the video including video that has not been downloaded. 4. ANY FLV file can be streamed. FLV files do not require Metadata injection. 5. Will work in Apache, Lighttpd and pretty much any web server. 6. FLV source files are secured and placed outside of a web server’s public directory. 7. Each protected FLV file records usage and views statistics. 8. Control how many times a protected FLV video can be viewed. 9. Set a time limit in days on when a protected FLV video expires. 10. Support for Bandwidth throttling to distribute load for busy sites. 12. Will run under *nix, OS X, Windows etc…
