This utility also written in php resets the contents of a file or list of files. Backups are made by default so the program can be considdered fool proof. You need to confirm if used with the option --no-backup. Also when used with a root account, an additional confirmation is asked. If a specified file does not exists, it will be created unless this behaviour is turned of with the --no-create option. You can specify what string is being put in the file. The program will refuse to work on directories. But if needed, just go to the dir and type empty *
